Naitec SBD for easyJet at new Terminal C of Catania Airport
Naitec Simple Bag Drop (SBD) is the solution chosen by Catania Airport to implement the Auto Bag Drop in the new Terminal C dedicated to easyJet flights.
Naitec SBD software is interfaced with easyJet DCS and allow in few simple steps to any passenger with online check-in to complete in self-service to check the baggage, print the label to stick on the baggage and leave it on the automatic belt.
The solution is integrated to the counter to allow an hybrid use (full self-service, assisted, manual counter) and a part its reliability it has been implemented without any issue in a quick time, allowing to Naitec in only 2 weeks from the availability of the BHS to install, integrate, configure and test it to be ready and operative at the opening of the Terminal.
Naitec has been involved in the new Terminal opening even for the extension of its new releases of Airport Operational systems such as AODB, A-RMS, BRS, FIDS to enable fligths, resources and information management.
